Rachel grew up in Billings, MT as the third of eight kids, so she’s no stranger to a little chaos and a lot of teamwork. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Mary (go Marauders!) and got her start teaching fourth grade in Bowman, ND (go Bulldogs!). In 2019, she found her way to Christ the King, where she now serves as the Reading Specialist and Director of Wrap Around Care.
This past spring, Rachel officially wrapped up her master’s degree in Literacy Education from the University of Central Arkansas—cue the confetti and happy dances! With graduate school off her plate, she’s been enjoying the sweet return of free time and diving back into her favorite hobbies like reading, crocheting, spending time outside, and catching up with friends.
Rachel is especially drawn to the way Montessori education honors and respects each child—it’s one of her favorite parts of being at Christ the King. She’s looking forward to another joyful year of learning, growing, and building community with the amazing students and families here!
