Mrs. Jess Angstman grew up in Jamestown, ND and was active in music, fine arts, and various parish programs during her youth. Attending the University of Mary after high school provided Mrs. Angstman with opportunities to continue growing as an individual, as a musician, and as a Catholic. Mrs. Angstman graduated with honors in music education to earn her teaching degree in 2019.
Since 2020, Mrs. Angstman has taught in numerous music departments, including band and choir at Shiloh Christian School, band and orchestra at School of the Holy Family, and Children's House music at St. Joseph’s Catholic Montessori School. She has been an accompanist at both CTK and St. Joseph's over the years and has performed with the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra on the flute and piccolo. Mrs. Angstman became Orff Level I certified in 2026.
Mrs. Angstman lives in Mandan with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include reading fiction novels and playing frisbee (frisbee golf or Ultimate Frisbee)! Mrs. Angstman is excited to continue finding ways to be involved with the Mandan community!
